PENN ELECTRIC RACING
Co-Lead of Aerodynamic and Composite Systems for this electric car racing team (2018-2019 season) at the University of Pennsylvania. We participate in Formula North and FSAE Lincoln annually (1st place at both in 2017). Led a team of 6 to design all aerodynamic systems on this electric car and create relevant composite structures (body panels and wings) out of carbon fiber. Used CFD (Star CCM+) to simulate airflow and justify design decisions of aerodynamic components. Used FEA (FEMAP) to analyze strengths of various car components (chassis and wing mounting structures).
